Terms of Service

1. The service

Nowzit is a tool for logging the miles you drive and the expenses you incur for clients or an employer, and turning them into reimbursement reports. Nowzit is not accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or legal advice. Mileage rates and calculations are provided for convenience; you are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for confirming that any report or rate meets your own or the IRS's requirements.

2. Your account

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, so there is no password to manage. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).

3. Subscriptions, billing & refunds

• Nowzit's free tier lets you generate one complete report. Unlimited reports require a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually at the prices shown at checkout.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods.
• We may change our prices; if we do, the new price applies to your next renewal, and we'll aim to give you reasonable notice beforehand.
• Canceling or ending a subscription never deletes your data or your already-generated reports — you keep access to view, download, and export them.

4. Acceptable use

Please use Nowzit lawfully and reasonably. Don't use it to break the law or infringe others' rights; don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data; and don't use the report-sending feature to send spam or unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that abuse these rules.

5. Your data and content

Your records are yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and process your data in order to provide the service (for example, encrypting and storing your receipts, and sending a report to the address you choose). We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. You can export or permanently delete everything at any time from your account. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

6. Our intellectual property

Nowzit, including its software, design, and name, belongs to Gladwight, LLC. These Terms don't give you any ownership of the service itself — only the right to use it while your account is in good standing.

7. Disclaimers

Nowzit is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any report will satisfy a particular tax, legal, or reimbursement requirement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gladwight, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Nowzit in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using Nowzit and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm Nowzit or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; you can export your data first, and account deletion permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Nowzit after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you and Gladwight, LLC consent to their jurisdiction.
